Merging duplicate contacts
Duplicate contacts can lead to conflicting or outdated information in your CRM. Imagine trying to reach out to a client, only to realize you’ve been working off of two different sets of contact details. It’s a recipe for embarrassment and frustration.

Keap makes it easy to consolidate duplicate records.
Checking for duplicate records
Follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Settings page and choose Data Cleanup:

- Choose who to check:
- Check all records. (May take a long time).
- Check all records that haven’t been marked as duplicates already.
- Check records that haven’t been checked already.
