Implementing a Horizon Cloud Pod

This chapter discusses how to enable, configure, and administer a VMware Horizon Cloud Pod. The Cloud Pod feature enables Horizon administrators to deploy multi-site, multi-pod view environments that support cross-Horizon pod user entitlements. Additionally, when deployed in a multi-pod configuration Horizon is capable of supporting up to 200,000 active sessions, or 20 times as many as a single Horizon pod. In this chapter, we will review the concepts behind a VMware Horizon Cloud Pod and cover key areas related to the Horizon Cloud Pod functionality.
