Cloud threats and attacks
Cloud computing provides and offers numerous products and services which can be quickly and efficiency employed sometimes in a matter of minutes. However, this convenience is susceptible to certain risks and threats. Some of the risks include but aren’t limited to data loss, service abuse, insecure APIs, service provider vulnerabilities, and DDoS attacks. Let’s look a little deeper and see exactly what these threats look like.
Data loss/breach
One of the most significant concerns in cloud computing is the potential for data breaches. As organizations increasingly rely on cloud services to store sensitive information, unauthorized access to this data becomes a critical threat. Common causes of data breaches in the cloud, including weak authentication, compromised credentials, and misconfigurations.
