Efficient Security Design
I know in previous chapters, I’ve said “This is the most important part…”. Well, I’m going to do the same thing in this chapter. And I’ll make a confession… security (and workflows) is my favorite topic to talk about. Now, you’re probably saying to yourself “There is something wrong with this guy!”, and you wouldn’t be wrong. When I started working in Dynamics, I started as an infrastructure administrator.
Back when I began, the administrator was responsible for setting up the infrastructure that Dynamics ran on, managing backups and environment replications, creating workflows, and setting up and managing security settings. Now that D365 has moved to the cloud, the job of the administrator has had a major change in responsibilities.
