Working with Tables And Cells
I assume you know the basics of selecting and creating a simple table and can navigate and add rows and columns. But are you familiar with some of the more specific table features such as locking cells, copying and incrementing values, using formulas or fields in a table, or auto-fill cells?
First, I want to review the available grips when working on a TABLE object.
Using Table Grips
First, let’s look at the common grips available when a table is selected:
- Use these grips to modify the height of a single row.
- Use these grips to modify the width of a single cell.
- Use this grip to increment the value of a cell automatically using the options, such as Fill Series and Copy Cells with or without formatting.
