The Open in New Window plugin uses JavaScript to make all of the external links on your website open in a new window. Having your outgoing links open in a new window leaves your website open to visitors—in theory, visitors are more likely to remain within your site if your site remains open in their browser. This plugin allows you to insert links without needing to set the target manually for outbound links. It is especially useful if you use a plugin to facilitate the submission of guest posts to your website, because you won't have to add the target tag to each of the links in these articles. Because this plugin uses JavaScript, it does not work on links that are located inside of an iframe tag.
