In his Secure Data Engineering Lab, Aspen mentors over a dozen graduate and undergraduate students each year.

Summary

This chapter introduced the secure object model. We looked at modeling classes, attributes, and relationships in UML class diagrams. Next, we looked at adding stereotypes to have more meaning represented in the diagram. We followed up with the addition of OCL invariants.

In the next chapter, we will build a dynamic model for message passing in our application.
