Now that we’ve had a chance to review some Data Cloud-specific terms, let’s review the Data Cloud data model. The Data Cloud data model can be confusing to B2C architects because it contains several similar concepts to the Lighting Platform and Marketing Cloud Engagement data models; however, the features and functions of the model and mapping vary across platforms.
Let’s break down the relevant data types for objects and fields in Data Cloud, and then jump into the underlying data flow across objects in the platform.
