Chapter 3: VxRail Administration Overview
In Chapter 2, VxRail Installation, we discussed an overview of VxRail installation. You learned how to prepare the hardware and software requirements for a VxRail installation. You can see from the whole deployment that it is more flexible and automated than the deployment of traditional servers and storage. These features help us minimize the deployment and configuration time, which is why we choose VxRail appliances for new system deployment.
In this chapter, we will describe an overview of VxRail administration. We will learn about the management panel that is used in VxRail appliances. Since the VxRail platform runs on VMware Virtual SAN (vSAN), we will explain the vSAN architecture and its concepts.
