Data exchange for sales transactions from CRM to ERP systems
Sales orders created in CRM are replicated to the backend ECC system. Once a sales order is replicated to ECC, it is further processed to execute the delivery, shipment, and invoicing. Once a sales order is delivered and invoiced, the system statuses for delivery and invoicing are also replicated/updated to the CRM system.
The prerequisite for sales order replication is the configuration of the transaction type and item category in the CRM and ECC systems. Once the configuration is complete, the replication between CRM and ECC can occur. We'll now look at different data exchange scenarios.
