Chapter 14

  1. PyCharm plugins are customized add-ons that can further add to the list of features and functionalities you can take advantage of while using PyCharm. A PyCharm plugin is much the same as a Google Chrome add-on, for example.
  2. From the general settings in PyCharm, navigate to the Plugins section. Here, you can choose to search for and install specific plugins in the Marketplace tab or apply any pending updates to the plugins you already have installed. Then, a complete reboot of PyCharm is required for the installation or the update to take effect.
  3. In the same Plugins section from the general settings, you can right-click on a specific item in the Installed tab. Here, you can choose to either disable the plugin or completely uninstall it from PyCharm.
