Working with ratings

Nowadays, almost every online service has some kind of customer rating and reviewing system. For many consumers, these ratings and reviews are an essential part of the purchasing decision. It may even be these reviews that convinced you to buy this very book in the first place!

What holds true on Amazon, Booking.com, Netflix, and others, also holds true in the ALM course catalog. This is why learners have the ability to rate the courses they are taking using a five-star rating scale.

By default, the star rating feature is enabled on any new ALM account. Let’s check this out using the following steps:

Log in to your account as an administrator.
From the administrator home page, click the Settings link located in the Configure section of the left sidebar.
Then, click the General link located in the Basics section of the left sidebar.
Scroll down the page until you see the Show Ratings section.
