Summary
In this chapter, we have focused on the deployment process that is run by the OEM vendor to deploy Azure Stack Hub within an organization's data center. We have talked about the prerequisites and the crucial decisions that need to be taken prior to the deployment process taking place. We have looked through the PowerShell UI, which is used to generate the configuration files used by the OEM vendor during the deployment process.
We have looked at the differences between the connected and disconnected scenarios. Importantly, we now understand what decisions cannot be changed post-deployment. We have talked about the different identity providers that can be configured during deployment. We should now be able to describe both the HLH and the DVM. We should be able to describe the part that each of these plays during the deployment process. We know that the deployment process is performed by the OEM vendor and that it is performed using PowerShell.
