Customizing Studio One

As you go from one project to another, some procedures become muscle memory, and you find yourself doing them over and over again. Maybe you have a special combination of effects plugins that works like magic on your vocals. Or maybe you created a killer sound by layering three virtual instruments on top of each other, and that sound has become such a part of your sonic signature that you want to use it on all your projects.

If you find yourself launching the same plugins or virtual instruments frequently, it’s a good idea to save them as templates and presets. This will allow you to jump right into the creative process without spending time setting up the same elements every time.
