Review questions and exercises
To help with your learning, try to answer the following review questions:
- Try swapping the resistors in your LED circuit. How do 220-Ohm, 330-Ohm, and 550-Ohm resistors affect the circuit? What have you observed?
- What are the two types of circuits that we looked at?
- What is the difference between a closed circuit and an open circuit?
- How would you wire a parallel circuit?
- What are some advantages of making a soft circuit?
- What are conductive materials and how do you know they are conductive?
- Create a parallel circuit and a circuit in series using crocodile clips or a breadboard.
- Create some sketches and notes for creative buttons and switches you can make. Take inspiration around you and draw some ideas out. This will be very useful later or if you’re struggling to think of ways to create your circuits.
