Tableau lets users control the overall dashboard size. It offers the following three size options:
- Fixed: This option helps in keeping the size of the dashboard fixed, regardless of the window used to display it.
- Range: Where the dashboard scales between two sizes that you specify.
- Automatic: Where the dashboard automatically resizes to fit the window.
Additionally, Tableau offers different dashboard layouts, adjusted for different types of devices. This allows you to make only one dashboard, but still control the way it appears to your end users when they view it on a range of different devices.
