Summary

In this chapter, we understood the external and internal drivers of change an organization should look out for when assessing its capabilities, how tools such as CBM.ai can be used to define the business architecture and roadmap to realize the desired outcomes, and how SAP BPI + Signavio Process Transformation Suite helps zoom in on process heat maps from CBM assessments to identify process improvements. Furthermore, we understood how several platform services such as SAP Workflow management and SAP BPI can be combined to configure autonomous processes. Toward the tail end of the chapter, we considered extension mechanisms for S/4 HANA processes and discussed the platform services on SAP BTP to which the CPEA credits offered under RISE with SAP could be applied, with examples.
