Making a personal gallery
This is a project I use to display all the art that I make from time to time, and it is a great way to display your art and realize how far you have come. So, for this project, I will be using art from my personal collection, but at this stage in the book, feel free to use the art you have created in completing this book. This project works on the following key areas:
- We will be faking 3D using warp of the floor
- We will be using textures over gradient rectangles to create wall textures
- We will be using multiple lighting layers to create mood and color
- We will be adding reflection from glass to mimic reflection
I have included the images to set up the gallery (see the Gallery project folder found in the downloads for this chapter), but not fill it; if you do not have enough photos to fill the gallery right now, you can always use stock. Let’s get started.
