Customizing the height and width of an element in Moodle on-premises with CSS


We can customize the height and width of an element in Moodle on-premises with CSS. In this example, we will customize the height and width of the logo that we have inserted in previous chapters. As we have just learned how to find the information to be able to change with CSS, we will do it in our Moodle on-premises. These are the steps that we have to follow:

  1. Within the administration block, click on Site administration | Appearance | Themes | Essential | General.

  2. Scroll down until you find Custom CSS, as shown in the following screenshot:

  3. Copy the code that gives the information of the element whose height and width are going to change. While copying the code, the element appears, as shown in the following screenshot:

  4. The code reads as follows:

              background-image:
