What is custom duty/charge?

Customs duty are charges levied on goods when they cross international borders. It is a tax that is imposed on imported goods. These duties are charged by special authorities and bodies created by local governments and are meant to protect local industries, economies, and businesses.

Do I have to pay customs charges for the print book order?

The orders shipped to the countries that are listed under EU27 will not bear custom charges. They are paid by Packt as part of the order.

A custom duty or localized taxes may be applicable on the shipment and would be charged by the recipient country outside of the EU27 which should be paid by the customer and these duties are not included in the shipping charges been charged on the order.

How do I know my custom duty charges?

The amount of duty payable varies greatly depending on the imported goods, the country of origin and several other factors like the total invoice amount or dimensions like weight, and other such criteria applicable in your country.

For example:

If you live in Mexico, and the declared value of your ordered items is over $ 50, for you to receive a package, you will have to pay additional import tax of 19% which will be $ 9.50 to the courier service.
Whereas if you live in Turkey, and the declared value of your ordered items is over € 22, for you to receive a package, you will have to pay additional import tax of 18% which will be € 3.96 to the courier service.

How can I cancel my order?

Cancellation Policy for Published Printed Books:

You can cancel any order within 1 hour of placing the order. Simply contact customercare@packt.com with your order details or payment transaction id. If your order has already started the shipment process, we will do our best to stop it. However, if it is already on the way to you then when you receive it, you can contact us at customercare@packt.com using the returns and refund process.

Please understand that Packt Publishing cannot provide refunds or cancel any order except for the cases described in our Return Policy (i.e. Packt Publishing agrees to replace your printed book because it arrives damaged or material defect in book), Packt Publishing will not accept returns.

What is your returns and refunds policy?

Return Policy:

We want you to be happy with your purchase from Packtpub.com. We will not hassle you with returning print books to us. Super-well organized, clear, and easy to follow. Great tips and tricks!Unfortunately Prezi software has moved on and is now substantially different than the book. I still got a lot out of it, however. I can't knock off a star because Prezi updated so quickly, but beware the book will not match the software directly. A worthy addition to your Prezi library and easy to read.

Resources is what I would say was the greatest value in this book. I purchased this 3 days ago and just finished it. The author is an extraordinarily talented Prezi creator and shows a lot of his own work as well as examples of other peoples truly outstanding work. However, what I got out of this was more the resources for finding and editing graphics for presentations. I do a lot with Power Point and YouTube content creation and being able to find audio and graphics and manipulate them on a budget is difficult. Mr. Anderson-Williams gives super easy step by step instruction on this. The second best value was in spelling out the planning process. The big picture. As for the how-to make a prezi, there wasn't much meat and potatoes there but then I think that's because Prezis features aren't that complicated yet. This is, as the sales pitch suggests, how to make your Prezis good. I'll have paid for the book just in the money I save on my next project.

No doubts that Prezi is a revolutionary platform to make business presentations. It's not comparable to Power Point, it's a complete different thing. Prezi combines mind mapping and lots of creativity to express your ideas.Well, this book was certainly written by an expert who shares with us tons of his tricks, and give us the mind-set to always think like a master.

I began using Prezi 2 years ago. I love it! Not only does it allow you to create amazing presentations but it challenges you to think differently. This book is a great asset. It provides clear instruction for ways to move to the next step. Every chapter had me saying "I could really use that". If you are going to use Prezi, at a high level, start here!

I love this book. It has worked well for understanding the everything from the basics to advanced presentation making. The information in this can be used in any software, but it does work best in Prezi. No matter how many presentations I make I can always refer back to this for better knowledge and more ways to go about it. Most interesting thing I found was taming the advanced search in google.
