It is a pretty useful comprehensive book, but it totally glosses over the data layer of microservices. Breaking apart a monolithic database into a separate database for each microservice is the hardest part of microservices. This book totally skips over that bit.

Book theory is poor, difficult to grasp. Does not even cover the microservices design patterns.Code is also not properly shown, but that you can download from the Packt website. This book tries to cover many latest technologies but failed in most aspects. Book is priced way more than its worth.

What is included in a Packt subscription?

How can I cancel my subscription?

What are credits?

Credits can be earned from reading 40 section of any title within the payment cycle - a month starting from the day of subscription payment. Can I download the code files for Early Access titles?

How accurate is the publication date?

How will I know when new chapters are ready?
