Dealing with admin notifications

As an Institution Administrator you will have the responsibility to respond to user activities within the site. Under the Admin Notifications tab, you will see that you will be advised about, and have the chance to respond to, the following circumstances:

• Contact Us: A user has made contact with you via the Contact Us facility. (This facility is always easily accessed by looking at the footer of your Mahara page—even when logged out.)

• Objectionable Content: At the bottom of user submitted views, reading users will find the option to Report Objectionable Content to the Mahara Administrators. You will receive notifications on this page when this happens. You will then need to go ahead and investigate the incident reported. While inappropriate behavior can't be completely thwarted on a Mahara site, in just the same way as you cannot stop this sort of thing from happening in a real-world environment, you can at least use this facility to responsively investig...
