Summary

In this chapter, we learned about the components of the Linux network stack, the tools for managing it, and different types of physical and virtual network interfaces. We learned how to assign and view addresses, view and create routes, configure network settings using NetworkManager and distribution-specific methods, and perform basic troubleshooting procedures.

In the next chapter, we will learn about managing storage devices.
