Summary

Well done, if you've made it this far! Components can take a while to get your head around and can be daunting at first, but hopefully by now you are getting a better understanding about how each little bit works together. In this chapter, we really improved on our com_folio component, and now the backend is starting to work like the core components. We have added all the standard columns, toolbars, and filters, and implemented some of the impressive functionality of Joomla! 3, such as the drag-and-drop ordering. There is still a little bit more work we need to do on the backend of our component, which we will continue in the next chapter.
