The tips for targeting and recon are as follows:

• Never share critical information in social media
• Never reuse important passwords
• Never share more than the other person needs to know
• Know what to speak, when to speak, and how to speak
• Read Chapter 8, Social Engineers Tools and search yourself to find out how public you are
• Keep in mind that there is no such thing as my social media account
