Reporting with Power BI
As with all the experiences in Fabric, real-time analytics integrates seamlessly with Power BI to create stunning visuals and actionable reporting. You can start creating a Power BI report directly from a KQL database or a KQL queryset. This will automatically create a dataset so you can get to work building the report quickly.
While not covered in this book, you can author reports in Power BI Desktop as well, as you are not restricted to the web browser report development experience. This is accomplished by copying the query URI from the KQL database in Fabric and entering it in Power BI Desktop’s Azure Data Explorer (Kusto) connector.
