Starting by defining your hiring strategy
I am certain that you do not have either the quantity or quality of people that you need to enable and adopt your new DevOps 360° operating model. Even if you think you do, as we mentioned in an earlier chapter of this book, it will be to the advantage of your DevOps 360° evolution to bring in some new blood that can disrupt your current DevOps status quo. Usually, organizations define certain hiring strategies to back up their DevOps endeavors. These hiring strategies can range from purely simple to rather complex. The parameters of the following table are the ones that I consider the most important as part of defining your DevOps hiring strategy:
