Summary

This chapter looked at some of the reusable architectural templates that can help a portal project to take off. We looked at how A2Z Bank plans on using them. Then, we moved on to the reference architectures to show how golden portal, portal pervasive, and security portal architectural blocks are architecturally described. We moved on to workload analysis and sizing questions as capacity management and performance modeling go hand in hand. We looked at some of the options to size and price portal environments via traditional physical deployments or the cloud.
