When one enters the world of listening to the voice of the customer, new approaches and new technologies are the first thing that is noticed. One of those new technologies is that of taxonomies.

In its simplest form a taxonomy is nothing more than a classification of words. When you look more deeply into a taxonomy, you see that there are different kinds of taxonomies. In particular there are generic taxonomies and specific taxonomies.
