Summary

We have covered a lot of advanced editing features in this chapter. We learned to soften sibilants, how to clip and replace sounds, how to perform time shifts, and how to align audio tracks. We also learned how to split and join tracks, how to normalize (or increase the entire track volume), how to mute tracks, and even how to sort them for easy playback and editing. All of these are advanced editing techniques that you might want to try in your future Audacity projects. In the next chapter, we'll look at adding background music, overdubbing, and fading in and out, in order to give your project even more depth.
