Configuring the Messaging System
If you have completed the various exercises that have been provided so far in this book, then the users you have defined in Chapter 5, Managing Users, should have received a significant number of email messages from Captivate Prime. In fact, almost every event that takes place in Captivate Prime triggers an email. Managers have received even more messages because in addition to messages about their activities as learners (remember that managers are, first and foremost, learners), they also receive messages about the activities of their team members.
This is an intentional approach to get learners to come back to Captivate Prime regularly, despite the large number of online platforms we all use every day. As such, these emails extend the reach of the Captivate Prime experience and can be considered the beginning of many Prime workflows.
