The differences between platform and linear product operating models

The key differences between the platform operating model and the linear product model are because of the multidimensional nature of the platform, which focuses on creating value across all the entities involved in the platform. Because of this difference, the way value is created and progress is governed in the landscape drastically varies.

The following are some of the key differences between the two operating models that are the byproduct of the multidimensional nature of the platform:
