Summary

Gloria has been checking the progress of all conversations. She is really happy with how the team is advancing in their learning and using that knowledge for the assigned tasks. She also feels lucky about how the team is collaborating, and how the new members are integrating with the older ones, especially as she had anticipated potential problems among them. Now she realizes that learning about all these new cloud technologies is a challenge that is uniting the team.

Now they’ve analyzed some of the database types offered by the cloud provider in depth – RDS, Aurora, and DynamoDB, the challenge is mastering all of them, as there are 11 types in the end – some relational, some non-relational. They’ve also taken a look at the Database Migration Service (DMS), which allows them to migrate a full database into the cloud.
