Testing the modules
In the previous chapter, we briefly discussed testing. Now let us look at some of the capabilities provided by WID to test the modules and components and also its simulation capabilities. WID allows you to test the modules by either unit testing or component testing. WID provides a capability called test suite editor that allows us to create and define test cases for testing the components that you implement in WID. The test cases are comprised one or more operations, and hence you can test the components and interfaces that contain the operations that you want to test. The test suite editor and associated wizards allow you to automate and run tests in the integration test client. Additionally, you can perform batch component testing on either a test environment server or a standalone server by using test scripts or the Web-based Component Test Explorer user interface.
