Dynamic tools for greater options
As this chapter is about advanced attribute design, I would be amiss if I did not review some of the more advanced options for creating within Illustrator. These methods have been available since 2015, and have allowed designers greater flexibility when it comes to creating, adjusting, and adapting artwork. We will be looking at the following three ways in which you can have greater flexibility in your decisions:
- The Shaper tool (Shift + N)
- Live shape options
- Dynamic Symbols
Now we will discuss all three techniques, which offer dynamic options to assist you in creating or editing an object with the assistance of the software.
