Illustrator for iPad
Adobe has been working hard at developing a natural workflow between the desktop and iPad versions of Illustrator. Using the new cloud AI format (.aic
), your work can be saved to the cloud and then travel between the two Illustrator apps. At the time of writing this book, I would not recommend this for all situations, as there are still many things that the iPad version cannot do. In fact, I have found that it makes some destructive changes to files occasionally. The good news is that cloud files always have a revisions list and can be brought back to a previous state.
