Using the Mesh tool and Wizards to Finalize a Design

In this chapter, we will take a closer look at the Mesh tool, which we introduced in Chapter 8, in the Sloped float roofs using the Mesh tool section. Besides that, we will learn how to use wizards such as TrussMaker and RoofMaker, allowing us to semi-automatically generate geometry based on the relatively simple geometry we already modeled.

The topics covered in this chapter are as follows:

  • Creating a detailed sloping site model with the Mesh tool and surveyor data
  • Using the TrussMaker and RoofMaker wizards to generate geometry semi-automatically

Learning these Archicad skills will improve your overall productivity and broaden the range of specific elements you will be able to model.
