Regardless of what option you decide to go with when deploying Kubernetes, whether it’s in a big cloud, a smaller cloud, or a PaaS solution, the goal is always the same and never changes – build an orchestration platform that can manage your containerized applications.

There are a lot of fancy tools out there, tons of different platforms, and many promises that each new and fancy platform will make your life easier from a Kubernetes perspective. The truth is, in one way or another, they all have the same goal.

The goal is to use Kubernetes to orchestrate and manage containerized applications. Ensure that as you go through each platform and tool, you have this in mind – orchestrate my containerized applications. If you keep that in mind, it’ll make choosing and getting through the marketing fluff much easier.
