I started to add a daily coping tip to the SQLServerCentral newsletter and to the Community Circle, which is helping me deal with the issues in the world. I’m adding my responses for each day here.

Today's tip is to plan a new activity or idea you want to try out this week.

At least a few months ago, this was a coping strategy for many. With shortages, closings, and more time at home, people were baking bread at home for the first time. That lead to shortages of baking yeast, so the focus shifted to sour dough bread. The bread baking seems to have slowed down -- or at least people are not talking about it as much.

So, this week try something new. It doesn't need to be anything extravagant. Maybe try out a new recipe or complete a repair that you've been avoiding for months.
