Implementing vRealize Operations for Horizon
This recipe will review the steps that are required to implement vRealize Operations for Horizon.
Getting ready
The following items are required to implement V4V:
vSphere hosts and storage resources with sufficient capacity to host the V4V platform. These requirements are described in detail in this section.
The vCenter IP pool is an IP pool required during the V4V virtual application's (vApp) installation process. Consult the VMware vCenter Operations Manager (VCOPS) vApp Deployment and Configuration Guide (https://www.vmware.com/pdf/VCOPS-vapp-582-deploy-guide.pdf) for instructions on how to configure an IP pool. The IP pool does not need to be enabled, but it must be created.
Two IP addresses for use by the V4V appliance virtual machines.
A V4V license key.
A vRealize Operations OVA file to deploy the base vRealize Operations vApp.
