Combining all and more

You know, writing content is excellent and valuable to our brand development effort. But the real power comes when we use the content as an infrastructure for our brand and combine it with the other methods we mentioned, such as being active in GitHub and Stack Overflow.

For example, if we write an article about a specific topic, we can build upon it. A GitHub repository explains our central idea, and by doing so, we earn another way to share our skills. We can then use our repository or article as a reference when answering a question in Stack Overflow and gain even more exposure.

But what can really make a big difference is upgrading that package to the extreme. Two great options that can make us stand out are speaking at conferences and authoring a book. I didn’t mention them before because, unlike the other options, being a public speaker or writing a book requires special skills, time, and resources.
