Modeling a decorative tray using radial array
For this exercise, let’s model the round decorative tray in Figure 8.33. In the process, we will do a radial array, which arranges items in a circle, equally spaced.

Open a new SketchUp file, choose the Architectural Inches template, and delete the scale figure. Get into Top view using the Views toolbar or under Camera | Standard Views | Top:
