Looking around
One of the most important concepts we need to cover is that the entirety of your design cannot be viewed from a single perspective. For example, let’s look at a coffee mug model designed in Tinkercad:

From the front view shown in Figure 3.1, everything looks good. We can see that there is an opening where the coffee should go and a handle attached to the side. But we are looking at this through a 2D screen (or book), and this model is actually 3D. As a result, we need to constantly change our views to thoroughly inspect our designs; otherwise, we might miss something, as shown in Figure 3.2. This is the same coffee mug model, but we are now looking at it from the front-right side:
