Defining Portfolio SAFe® roles and responsibilities

Portfolio SAFe breaks the defined three-role pattern found in the Essential SAFe and Large Solution SAFe configurations. As part of the LMP Team, the Portfolio SAFe configuration implements two additional roles and responsibilities, Epic Owners and the Enterprise Architect. In addition, the LPM team includes the Business Owners of the products. We’ve already discussed the role of Business Owners, as their primary duties support the products at the level of the Essential SAFe configuration. But, let’s take a quick look at the roles and responsibilities of the LPM team as a whole, and the Epic Owners and Enterprise Architect.
