Keeping the client engaged

Before we even try to answer how to keep your client engaged, we should try to answer why we should keep them engaged and interested. The main reason for an SA to keep the client engaged is so that they can always get early feedback and try to adhere to the principle of customer obsession. Unless you are working closely with your client and sponsor, you might lose some of those opportunities to network and connect, and even future projects. Out of sight is out of mind. Having your clients focused on a project gets you better and faster support from other teams as well. Any escalation or urgent need can be sent to the proper channels in a timely fashion. Now that we have understood the why part, let’s see how we can keep the client engaged:
