Summary
In this chapter, we looked at three ways to extend Adobe Animate beyond its default state. The first was through the creation of custom in-app tutorials along with the export of Animate asset files and Animate preferences files. We then explored the writing of JSFL scripts and the configuration of their associated commands within the operating system to produce random visuals within an Animate document. Finally, we examined procedures around the installation and management of third-party extensions… making use of the CPSDK to add new document types, export formats, and other functionality to Animate with a look at the LottieFiles extension in particular.
