Summary
As always, we've covered much ground in this chapter. We started by providing an overview of the computer architecture and then discussed how the GRUB2 bootloader works on both BIOS-based and EFI/UEFI-based computers. Then, we covered systemd-boot on the Pop!_OS Linux machine, and wrapped up with a discussion of Secure Boot.
In the next chapter, which will be our final one, we'll talk about systemd-logind. I'll see you there.
