Chapter 6: The Basics of Mobile UI Building

Now that we understand more about how Galio can help us with building our cross-platform mobile application, it's time to learn a few rules about designing so that we can use the framework to its maximum potential.

This chapter will look superficially at some design concepts and guidelines that'll help us at least feel more confident in our design skills. I hope this chapter will give you a boost of confidence and a drive to build/create a beautiful user interface (UI).

We'll start by exploring the importance of clean design and some basic guidelines we should follow to make sure our design is as clean and minimalistic as possible while delivering the most useful information to our users. After that, we'll slowly drift into a basic explanation of user experience (UX) and how to find out what's best for our users.
