Summary
And there we go! We have completed this chapter and created a nice realistic waterfall simulation. We have covered a lot, so let’s do a quick recap.
First, we learned about the domain settings for creating realistic fluid, added an inflow object, and set obstacles for the fluid to collide with. We then learned how Foam particles work and how to add them to the simulation. We covered realistic water materials in Blender and how to add motion blur in the Compositor! Finally, we learned how to properly render out animations in Blender and sequence them together in the Compositor. For the rest of the tutorials in this book, I won’t be covering how to render animations, so just remember to reference this chapter for a quick recap!
Fluid simulations are quite complicated and can take a long time to create, but hopefully, this chapter gave you an understanding so that you can go out and create your own realistic simulations! I hope you like explosions because,...
