To take a deep dive into our data, we need to explore and dissect it as per the requirement in hand. Kibana is quite useful for this data exploration as we have multiple options available to dissect the data; for example, on a single dataset we can do following:
- The time filter can be applied to filter the data on the basis of date and time
- A direct query can be applied to data using a query bar, such as field: value
- Filter your data using the interactive filter option
- Limit the number of fields you want to see
